Calling within the rules
Careful calling, built in
BE Voice is made for Australian businesses and follows the calling rules for you, so a campaign can't call at the wrong time or keep calling someone who said no.
Calling hours
Each type of call has its own hours, in the person's own local time, and a limit on how often one number is called.
| Type of call | Calling hours (their local time) | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Debt collection | Mon–Fri 7:30 am–9 pm, weekends 9 am–9 pm | Up to 3 calls a week, 10 in 30 days |
| Service and reminders | 8 am–8 pm | Up to 2 calls a day |
| Telemarketing | Weekdays 9 am–8 pm, Saturdays 9 am–5 pm; not Sundays | Up to 1 call a day, 4 a month |
You can make these stricter for your business, never looser.
Honest about who's calling
- The AI says it's an automated assistant and who it's calling for.
- For debts, it checks it's speaking to the right person before mentioning the account, and never discusses it with anyone else or on voicemail.
- Sales calls work only from the offer you describe: no made-up prices, deadlines or pressure.
Do not call
- BE Voice keeps a do-not-call list for your business. Anyone who asks not to be called again goes on it straight away.
- Numbers on the list are never called, whatever list they turn up in later.
- Before a telemarketing campaign starts, you confirm you have permission to call the list, or have checked it against the Do Not Call Register.
Your records
Every AI call comes with its outcome, a summary and the full conversation, so you can show exactly what was said.
